Birthday Party Options at BookPeople
TIMES & LOCATIONS
All of our birthday parties will be held at the store, on our 3rd floor event space.
All parties will be scheduled between the hours of 9:00AM –3:00PM.
(On either Monday, Thursday, Friday, or Sunday)
Each party will be allotted 2 hours, including set-up & take down.
Parties are intended for ages 0 – 8.
Option #1: Storytelling Birthday Party! $150*

Option #2: Puppet Show Birthday Party! $250*
AMENITIES: BookPeople puppeteers will perform a 20 min puppet show from
their repertoire.

Option #3: A Birthday Party with a Special Gift $240

- choosing a 6-month Book-of-the-Month subscription for the birthday kid, with your choice of board books or paperback books
- note: For a hardcover Book-of-the-Month subscription, the total fee would be $290
Option #4: A Special Guest Birthday Party $350*

- Tiny Tails Traveling Petting Zoo
- YogaKids
*COST: Each party option lists a flat fee, which covers up to 25 guests (kids & parents combined). If you expect more than 25, or more than 25 people show up the day of the party, we’ll charge an additional $5 a head.
AMENITIES
BookPeople Storyteller:
One of our beloved storytellers will read 2 or 3 picture books or stories to be chosen from our shelves in advance. We can make sure to have them on hand that day.
Party favor bags will include: a variety of simple things, a $5.00 off coupon to BookPeople for each child, plus, your party helper will also include anything else that you bring with you for the party bags.
We’ll appoint a BookPeople employee to help with crowd control, cutting the birthday cake, handing out gift bags, answering questions, and anything else you might need to make sure the party runs smoothly.
