TOM ANGLEBERGER - Fake Mustache

  • Children's Event
04/18/2012 6:00 pm
 Bestselling Author of
The Strange Case of Origami Yoda
TOM ANGLEBERGER
will speak & sign
Fake Mustache.

Tom Angleberger is one of our very favorite authors, and we can't wait to see him back in Austin! The problem is... we need your help preparing a proper welcome. You see, his latest book stars a Heidelberg Handlebar Number Seven (a very hairy and very expensive real-hair fake mustache). That's why we thought it would only be appropriate to collectively celebrate this hirsute wonder with a little mustache madness of our own.

So come one come all to BookPeople tonight in your mustachioed best to greet Tom and hear all about his wacky and hilarious new book called Fake Mustache: How Jackie O'Rodeo and Her Wonder Horse (and Some Nerdy Guy) Saved the World.  We'll even have complimentary pizza courtesy of Austin's Pizza!

Tom Angleberger is the bestselling author of The Strange Case of Origami Yoda, which won the 2010 E. B. White Read Aloud Award for middle readers, Darth Paper Strikes Back, and Horton Halfpott, which Kirkus dubbed “a romp from start to finish.” He lives in Christiansburg, Virginia, with his wife, author and illustrator Cece Bell.

In order to have anything signed at a BookPeople event, a copy of the event book must be purchased from BookPeople. If you purchase your book from BookPeople in advance of the event, please save your receipt and present it at the event.

Thank you for supporting Tom Angleberger, and your local independent bookstore!

How Our Events Work

BookPeople is proud to host over 300 events every year. Our events are free and open to the public, unless otherwise stated.

To get a book signed at one of our events, a copy of the event book must be purchased from BookPeople. By purchasing a book from BookPeople, you are not only supporting a local, independent business, but you are also showing publishers that they should continue sending authors to BookPeople. Think of it this way: you wouldn't bring your own beer to a bar, would you?

For events where we anticipate large crowds, wristbands may be required in order to join the signing line. Occasionally we may also ticket events. In both cases, information as to when wristbands/tickets are available will be found on that event's specific page on our website.
