I've got the best job in the world. I'm the adult books buyer here at the store, which means I get to decide (with the help of all our awesome booksellers) what books we are going to sell. I've worked at BookPeople on and off for eight years. I love the store and not just because of the great staff and great books, but also because it is where I met my husband. We've been married almost five years and now bring our nine-month old son, Oliver, in to terrorize the store whenever we can.

I will read almost anything I can get my hands on but tend to read literary fiction. I especially love stories set in South Asia. Like all staff members here at the store, I get to read books well before they are published so I've included some titles that I'm anxious to start selling once they are released later this year.
